Basic vs Anycast

Basic is free authoritative DNS for up to 5 zones from European sites in Falkenstein, Amsterdam, and Zurich (Switzerland, not the EU/EEA) — typically included with hosting or related managed work, not sold as a standalone upsell. When Basic is bundled with paid Managed Hosting or Email & Presence, it carries a 99.9% monthly target (SLA credits); standalone free Basic is best-effort with no SLA. Anycast is €5/mo for up to 25 zones over Anycast across 9 live locations worldwide, and includes the Basic European sites as a fallback on top of that global footprint, with a 99.9% monthly target (SLA credits) when DNS is contracted. If Anycast PoPs fail but a Basic European site still answers authoritatively, that is not Anycast downtime for credit purposes. DNSSEC is included on both options and configured with you. PoP counts reflect live inventory and may grow as new locations come online.
